We are a fresh breath of class and style in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Located in Southern Pines, we offer an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and sophistication, where steak is our specialty. We have an extensive wine cellar featuring 3500 bottles, 20 of which we are pouring by the glass. Please join us between 5pm and 6pm to receive $3 off all entrees and steaks.

We had a fabulous dinner tonight at Southern Prime. Our beef Wellington‘s were done to perfection. The, the filet was also done to perfection and the sides are absolutely delicious. It was a very enjoyable ambience. Thank you Mike for the seating in the wine room. Kadence did a wonderful job Serving us. We were not rushed. It was a great New Year’s Eve celebration. A perfect night it was.

Meal was wonderful we both had steaks and they were great. Service was excellent as always I would highly recommend Southern Prime they never disappoint.

Wretched dining experience! Save your money. Staff was rude and very poorly trained. It’s an over priced Texas Roadhouse, masquerading as an upscale steak house. A fool redneck diner wore a huge cowboy hat (no cattle) and set the tone for an absolutely miserable meal. The wait staff continually bumped our chairs, the table, or my partner and me, with no apologies or even any idea they were being offensive. The food was served lukewarm. I cannot say enough bad things about this miserable dump!

Took way too long to receive our food. The steaks were over cooked (ordered medium, received well done). The excuse was the chef was out sick. This is a high-end steakhouse that charges an appropriate price for the value received, usually. They need to have a kitchen that can accommodate a missing person, even the chef. Our table received a mild draft every time the front door opened.

The shrimp was excellent, and so were the green beans and mashed potatoes. unfortunately the steaks were not good. My husband asked for a well done, and I asked for a medium well. His was medium well, and mine was rare. The waitress came back and said that 2 of the chefs called out; she figured it was made wrong. She looked them back to be cooked correctly, and THEY STILL were wrong. She offered a free dessert, which we declined. For $120+, that's unacceptable.

Delicious! We had a Bruschetta appetizer, drizzled with basalmic glaze, rare tenderloin and a large ribeye. Generous, perfectly cooked steaks. Will be back.
