Souvlaki GR offers a little taste of Mykonos in the heart of NYC. After an award-winning food truck and four years of continued success at our Lower East Side location, we have expanded to Midtown in order to continue providing New Yorkers with authentic Greek souvlaki. One step across our threshold, and we hope you"ll be transported to the cobblestone alleys of Mykonos and Santorini in order to enjoy our signature Souvlaki Pitas and other classic staples of Greek cuisine.

                                                                                                    Un angolo di Grecia in NY, sembra di mangiare in un ristorantino tipico di un’isola greca. Buono il cibo ed ottimo il servizio. Bravi!

                                                                                                    PRO: cibo molto buono, rispecchia i tipici piatti greci; servizio molto veloce; l’atmosfera del locale ti riporta nei vicoli di alcune cittadine della Grecia. CONTRO: musica veramente troppo alta, non si riuscivano a prendere le ordinazioni nè a parlare; prenotazione alle 20, ci siamo seduti alle 20.30; prezzi veramente alti per il cibo che abbiamo mangiato, ma abbastanza in linea con lo standard dei ristoranti di NY

                                                                                                    Cibo ottimo. Anche con la prenotazione abbiamo aspettato più di 15 minuti e ci hanno fatto accomodare in un tavolo per due persone anche se eravamo in tre.

                                                                                                    La cucina greca e’ di buon livello, ma il rumore nel locale, che e’ piccolo, e’ davvero insopportabile e ti fa solo sperare di finire di mangiare il più rapidamente possibile e andartene. Detto questo, e’ proprio necessario tenere il volume della musica su livelli decisamente più adatti a una discoteca?

                                                                                                    The food is delicious and served quickly. The restaurant is popular and often crowded and noisy. Yet I keep going back. Bean soup is a meal in itself. Shrimp pita and salmon burger are also delicious.
