The Spring House Tavern dates back to 1719 and has been owned and operated by the Burns family since 1948. We specialize in seafood and are especially well known for our crab cakes. We look forward to seeing you!

    Great place for Sunday brunch. Menu and staff was very good. Decor refresh was a pleasant surprise.

    We enjoyed bourbon cocktails and good crusty bread and butter. Our appetizers, snapper soup and roasted tomato pepper soup were both served hot and delicious in generous portion. Our entrees were very good. Prime Rib was done medium as requested. The sautéed crab was a bit overcooked but we did not complain. Brussels with bacon, sweet potato fries both excellent. Service was excellent. Suggestions would be to eliminate the premium charges for side dishes, and get some good dark amarena cherries for the bar.

    Great food and WONDERFUL service. Had to eat at the Spring House Tavern on a trip back from South Carolina to have snapper soup and GREAT crab cakes and, of course, to be served by Kate

    Very nice newly renovated restaurant. It was quiet and classy here. Server was perfect. I ordered a filet and portions were smaller but perfect for me. My family ordered different things and portions were great.

    We were five first cousins meeting together after five years. The venue could not have been better - you even let us stay, chat and laugh for over three hours. Setting up for a group picture, someone immediately jumped in to take the pic for us. The food- outstanding- cheeseburger, chicken cheesesteaks and crab cake entrees. We will return, possibly with more cousins.thamks.

    We had a top-notch experience with our 7 person party. The server checked with the chef and was able to prepare a meal for my special needs daughter. All of our food and drinks ( and dessert!) were outstanding. The only thing I would change would be to put up some acoustic panels that absorb sound. the noise was so loud my dad had to turn off his hearing aids. But 10/10. Thank you!!!!!

    We were seated as soon as we arrived with our reservation. Food and service were excellent as usual. Only issues at this time are that they usually have very good soups as appetizers (snapper being my favorite). However, they no longer offer a cup of soup for an appetizer, only bowls. Also, they no longer offer Miller Lite beer as a draft choice.
