Square One Restaurant is an American bar and eatery in Key West, Florida that has become quite popular. Beginning with the dumplings, one knows they are in for a unique dining experience when coming to this venue. Served six to an order, this finger food comes in a choice of duck, pork or spinach. Square One Restaurant is also known for its flatbreads. Sample the farmer�s market to get your fill of kale and walnut pesto, mushrooms and roasted garlic. For something from the grill, you can order a burger. Square One Restaurant has several varieties, including the blackened mahi. Each is cooked fresh and grilled to order.

The restaurant was closed for no obvious reason, despite a confirmed reservation, (no sign on the door and no update on the homepage).

Didn't have a chance to eat there. We walked up and were told that the kitchen is closed even though we had made a reservation on open table. It was during July, which is a slower season for KW. I would have appreciated two things. 1) a phone call when the reservation was made to let me know prior to making our way over there. However, to their defense we made our reservation only a half hour before we got there. And 2) I didn't appreciate the "well I mean we Caaaaaaaaaan reopen the kitchen just for you.... But we are closed" Listen, I'm not going to beg to eat there. Overall, communication could be improved. The menu looked amazing just wish we had a chance to eat there.

We had outstanding service while dining at Square One. The food was very good, and the selection varied. Small plates were more than enough for an entree, or sharing. Ambiance is very nice, but the music was just a bit loud. We will definitely return

Great food! For any foodies out there you should stop at this place. We had the farmers market Flatbread to start (they ran out of short ribs). Seafood risotto, skirt steak, chicken, seafood pasta and burger were all great! Well prepared and they were accommodating for our kids.

I have been dining regularly at Square One for 25+ years and through 3 changes of owners. The service and quality of food has been steadily tanking over the past year and my last meal there was terrible. I will not be returning.

In a city of great restaurants - this one is ok, but not great. Probably better for a younger crowd with higher energy levels and not so much care about table conversation.

We had a group of 11, our server was excellent on top of everything. Food was very good as well. The stuffed Pork Chop was a hit at our table. We have already told our friends about Square 1 and we will definitely be back.
