   We thoroughly enjoyed our evening overlooking the golf course, meandering cows, lake and birds, and pink mountain sunset! The food was good, not outstanding, but good. Service was great! Will be back no doubt!

   We had a nice meal, guys had the short rib and raved about it. Make sure you call directly and request to be seated outdoor where the music is playing. Outdoor seating request does not guarantee that, there is another outdoor area that is not where the music is played.

   We enjoyed this dinner very much! Everything was delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. It was a little loud when we walked in to the restaurant due to large groups, but they were having fun so it was a good problem, and our reservation was for outside so it didn't bother us. It was a lovely evening!

   Have been to the Stables countless times. Love the atmosphere and the food is always delicious. Sitting on their patios, enjoying the golfers, cows and occasional deer, looking at the gorgeous mountains, is one of southern AZ’s most delightful pleasures. The menu offers wonderful choices. Last night we ordered short ribs, walleye, pasta and steak - all well prepared. Slow service, sometimes an issue, wasn’t a problem. I will say prices are high, but usually worth it. (A very small baguette for $6 frosts me.) We always enjoy being there.

   We have eaten at Stables Restaurant for the past six years and have always loved the food and atmosphere. Today's experience was very disappointing. The service was slow, the restaurant was noisy and the tacos I ordered were so rubbery that I had trouble cutting them with a knife. Perhaps this was an isolated situation but we'll never know as we don't plan on returning any time soon.

    The service was wonderful, but my meal wasn't that great. The arugula salad was great and would definitely order again, however, the Schnitzel was dry and had to be cut with a steak knife, and what they said would be German potato salad was just chopped up potatoes...flavorless. It came with green beans and I have NEVER had green beans in a restaurant that were edible.....don't serve green beans. There are so many other options. The breakfasts were always great, it was just dinner.
