   We stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary in June and decided to try out the restaurant for dinner. Staff were lovely however seemed very over worked although the restaurant only half full. We didn't get offered any bread, the wine took ages to come and we saw it being taken to and fro a few times apparently it wasn't cold so was put in an ice bucket, it wasn't cold but was cool, then the prawn and chicken curry came without the prawns so we had to ask for them! It was nice when it turned up though. Our starters of prawn cocktail and smoked salmon cannelloni were amazing, really tasty. The bill was quite expensive for what we had, the prawn and chicken curry was nice but was over £16 which was a bit on the expensive side for what was some chicken, prawn, butternut squash and rice. There was lots of renovation going on before the new restaurant opens and maybe everything is being put in that instead. It was a shame because we were really looking forward to it, we had a nice time we were laughing at all the problems, wouldn't rush back though.

   This is our second visit to this restaurant, it was a celebration meal and we made a good choice. There is plenty to choose from on the menu in all 3 courses and we had a large variety of food on the night and there was not one thing we didn't thoroughly enjoy. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was perfect and we were literally waited on hand and foot. Highly highly recommend and will be going back very soon 😊😊😊😊

   I sampled the set menu and was impressed by the delicious asian beef salad, my companion's sea bass and the range of cocktails available. Great attentive service and would definitely return.

   Booked for an afternoon tea to celebrate two birthdays. Very nice surroundings and a lovely tea, loved the scones with clotted cream and jam, and the small cakes. Nicely presented. Very good value as we did not know there was a promo on that day.

   The food was really good value for money. I had the steamed lobster which was lovely. The chips and salad are unlimited so myself and friends did indulge and make use of this. The drinks were also lovely and made for a good evening.

   The service was amazing , the location was amazing. The cocktails were great I am told , the steaks were tough and old , the lobster was over cooked and we are talking way overcooked. The lobster has been boiled many hours ago and kept soaking in the pot for many hours before grilled and served. Quite a disappointing evening where the food is concerned but the staff are amazing and very attentive and cheerful.

   Nice venue, nice decor, a little cramped getting in and out your seat. Staff fairly friendly. Lovely toilets with nice hand wash creams etc, clean too. Lobster portion, tiny! I'd go for steak if I go again. Chips portion tiny too but you can ask for more included in the price. I'd expect more food for the money I spent. Came out hungry!

   The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was amazing and the unlimited fries was so good. Will definitely come back.

   Some might be put off by the fact there is only a choice of two meals. But don't! Both the steak and lobster are amazing so its well worth a visit. Also cocktails are a little different to the classics which is a nice addition to a romantic meal. Service is great: staff are both attentive and friendly.

    We went for dinner here whilst staying in the hotel, the lobster was lovely although tiny! more like a big prawn, which is probably why they offer unlimited fries and salad!! Very good service (although was a quiet evening so that may have affected it), we wouldnt go again unless we were in the area, but would recommend it. The drinks menu was ridiculously expensive so we opted to head to nearby Turtle Bay for half price cocktails which were amazing!!
