The 120-­‐seat restaurant is Chef Jason Stoneburner’s homage to the varied cooking styles of the Mediterranean and the natural bounty of the Pacific Northwest with a focus on stone hearth cooking. The inviting restaurant is furnished with architectural objects and antiques from all over the globe, giving it a warm, timeless feel. Private dining is available in the restaurant with the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion providing stunning event space atop the hotel.

                                                      Stoneburner accommodated my husband's efforts to add extra special details to the dinner for my birthday: holding a bouquet in the office and placing it on our table, bringing out champagne shortly after we were seated. There were tons of plant-forward shareable plates roasted in their stone oven which is exactly how I eat nowadays. The black cod entree was delicious and the flank steak was perfect. They use the best mozzarella on their stone oven pizzas-- always a great pizza. It's a dark, wood-paneled space and fairly loud due to all the hard surfaces and activity, so someone with visual or hearing impairments might have a harder time with seeing the menu or having conversation. I've had many special meals here and really cherish this place. They keep the menu short and do everything on it excellently. Highly recommend!

                                                      The staff is attentive and personable. They pay attention to detail and hone in on subtle cues. I felt very welcome and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

                                                      We had a party of 5 for a 7:30pm dinner. At 9:10, while we were still eating, we were asked if we needed to-go boxes and they were stacking chairs on the tables. This was a Friday night. When we asked if we could order more wine, the server looked at her watch and said sure. It felt very uncomfortable as we were being rushed to leave. If a restaurant of this caliber wanted to close early, they should not take 7:30 reservations. We felt like the staff wanted us to leave and they wanted to go home, which would be completely understandable if it were later; but it was 9:10 on a Friday night. This was actually the 2nd time something like this has happened here. I’ll think twice about returning.

                                                      This was my second time at Stoneburner, and once again, they hit it out of the park. The service was impeccable. Our server (whose name I believe was Ally?) was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I can't even begin to describe the flavors in the food. The Pork Chop, Tuna appetizer, and mushrooms were bursting with delightful surprises. The pumpkin dessert was so good that we discovered the owners also run Sabine. Naturally, we headed there the next morning to enjoy pastries (crafted by the same pastry chef) and coffee. The decor at Stoneburner is perfect—intimate and absolutely beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
