   A lovely meal in very nice surroundings. Service from our waitress was excellent, she could not have been more helpful or charming in any way.

   This is a wonderful little restaurant with character and the food goes with it. The service was very helpful and accommodating , very friendly, but not overly so if you understand what I mean. We will go there again. DBM

   I always look forward to eating at this gem off. Restaurant, it's off the beaten track, and has rooms if you fancy an overnight stay in in the Kent countryside. Food is fabulous and the house wines are really good

   Almost perfect, but everything was over salted. Would definitely come back if we were ever in the area again.

   We were the only people in restaurant on mother's Day night! made to feel we should of come in the day, how strange. No steak on "mother's Day menu", I asked is there something thing u can do, nope, didn't even go ask someone in charge or chef. Coffee cold, food is average here and way over priced, won't go back. Previous owners had fantastic chef, can't help but compare.

   i love this place. the food is always amazing. However, i booked a table for mothers day. it was a bit dissapointing that we we seated in the wedding tent outside. especially as the main restaurant wasnt full when we arrived. it felt very odd... it was as though we were at a wedding reception. Also, when i booked online, it didnt mention that they were only serving a "Mothers Day"set meal and the main menu wasnt available???Although the food was great, the menu was very restricted ( Pork, chicken or Polenta). There was no pasta on the menu????.... which is really why we booked here. I will go back but this time was a let down.

   We booked for Mother’s Day. The menu was limited but food and service good. Not being told that the whole sitting was in a marquee on a cold windy day was not expected and disappointing for us and other parties. Check where you will be seated would be my advice.
