Street and Co. is a Mediterranean, bistro style, all-seafood restaurant with a dynamic atmosphere and 35 years of experience, located right in the heart of the Old Port.
Our chefs focus on serving the freshest seafood and the best ingredients available from local purveyors, fishermen and organic farmers. They prepare a simple yet creative menu that highlights the ingredients.
Our personalized wine list truly complements the cuisine and we offer a classic full bar. We serve our full menu at the bar itself and feature a raw bar with a variety of local oysters. The bar is available to book the majority of the year but only available thru walk in for July/August. Our comfortable lounge is great place to get together for drinks and appetizers or to enjoy while waiting for a table.
Al fresco dining is available thru walk-in only from Memorial Day through September, depending on weather. We book the majority of the dining room but reserve a few tables for walk in as well.

                                                  A beautiful dinner at Street and Company in January the ambience was lovely. It was not terribly busy wasn’t loud no summer people involved.  it was a lovely evening with ended with a beautiful chocolate dessert made by the chef happy January.

                                                  Street & Co. is an outstanding restaurant in Portland, Maine, housed in a charming historic building. The waitstaff provided exceptional service, ensuring a seamless dining experience from start to finish. The food was truly phenomenal.

                                                  Outstanding food and service, outdoing the other Old Port restaurants where we have been disappointed by its trendy neighbors. The mussels with garlic appetizer somehow gets better each time we come. Our main courses of scallops with pernod and the whole fish branzino evidence why this restaurant still shines after many years after others have faded away.

                                                  We are gluten intolerant and the restaurant offered very few dining options. We were told by phone that they carried gluten free pasta, but wait staff said they've never carried gf pasta. Even most of the fish dishes included wheat and no attempt was made to offer the fish dishes with a few changes to make them gluten-free. The menu is also totally overpriced. A branzino entree cost over $40 and didn't even include a side green or potato ($6 extra for beans; an additional $6 for potatoes).

                                                  I've always enjoyed my visits to Street and Co. Great ambiance and service and a respect for their ingredients. This is a seafood only restaurant in an ocean port city, so there's no second class status to seafood as there may be at other restaurants. Everything is perfectly prepared and presented. This is a very popular restaurant. You take your chances just walking in, so I suggest you have a reservation.

                                                  My husband and I decided to come back to Portland for our anniversary dinner after stumbling across St & Co a few weeks prior on a family trip. The mussels and octopus were both absolutely amazing. The octopus is cooked to perfection - we had to order it again! We sat at the bar and my husband struck up a conversation with Wren about oysters while she was shucking them and her oyster knowledge is beyond impressive, we learned so much! The rest of our dinner, the fisherman's stew and salad were also delicious. The atmosphere was super relaxing, which is exactly what we needed! We will definitely be back!

                                                  Still the same great restaurant with excellent food and personable wait staff. Very busy on a Saturday night but it was a calm hum of voices and the ease of staff that know what their roles. We will be back!

                                                  Fantastic food and service. Tables are too close together. One woman was loud and cursing throughout the meal. Just a little too loud!

                                                  We have not been to Street in awhile and it continues to be superb. We sat at the bar; food and service was just wonderful.
