   Let me be clear here, we dine at GPI 6-8X per year. Service and ambiance always excellent. Food was a disappointment. The swordfish that I had was so salted it was inedible. The sea bass was acceptable but the offered sauces really destroyed the natural flavor. In fairness, the filet was 100%. The roasted carrots were very under done. We were entertaining out of town quests so I did not say anything to the server. I just took the sea food in a box and tossed it away when I walked into our home.

   Always a favorite place to go in Asheville. Food and service is always excellent and view is incredible!!

   Ate there to celebrate Mother’s Day. Unfortunately it was cloudy and we didn’t get to enjoy the view & seeing the sun going down as much as were hoping. Food was very good. Shared a NY Strip steak, whipped potatoes, Brussels sprouts and chocolate crème brûlée. Plenty of food for the two of us. All gluten-free dishes are clearly marked and was served gf rolls prior to dinner. Tab was around $170 with tip. Food was delicious, although sprouts were a little over seasoned, in our humble opinion. Waitperson was quirky but attentive.

   We came for drinks and dessert and our server Cody - was super fun, friendly, and ready to serve. I even left my glasses and he saved them for when I came back. Talking about going First! Appreciate him. Would come again.
