Sycamore is a seasonally inspired, chef-owned neighborhood bistro in Newton Centre. Emphasizing locally sourced produce, fish and meat, our menu draws on classic European country food; rustic and wholesome. Our beverage program is designed to complement the cuisine. The wine list focuses on passionate small producers, our beers are by and large domestic craft selections and the cocktail list highlights classic drinks and sipping spirits.

Our favorite restaurant! The menu is constantly evolving and changing daily/seasonly so you there is always something new to try and the food/bar service is constantly terrific.

Consistently one of the best restaurants in the Boston area. Food is top-notch, as are the wines, cocktails and service. Every meal I've had there (starting in 2013) has ranged from very good to outstanding.

Wow!!! The assistance from the bartender when explaining the food selections as well as the wine was above expectations. He also was spot on with the explanations and we both enjoyed the food immensely. There was a full range from vegetarian to non and the dishes did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back. This is a fabulous allocation w much ambience. I only wish the table seatings were a minimum of 2 hours. It’s hard to enjoy a meal and unwind all in a 90 min window which is what was offered when booking. Knowing this, we chose to sit at the bar.

This was my first time to visit Sycamore, but it will not be my last. The atmosphere, service and food exceeded expectations!

We had a wonderful dinner at this intimate restaurant. Loved the ambiance,excellent service and outstanding stripped bass dish The tables are at some distance from each other so didn’t feel cramped. Will definitely return
