   As always the prime rib was the best, lots of flavor and cooked perfectly. The sides had plenty of flavor and they were the correct size, large enough where you don’t get overly full. The only downside was the French onion soup. They used old Yorkshire pudding slices instead of their great bread. The Yorkshire slices were so tough that I couldn’t slice them or even eat them. Because the cheese was baked unto them I didn’t get to enjoy the cheese either. I will stay with one of their salads next time and there will be a next time.

   We took our sons to The Tam for our annual St. Patrick's dinner. Our server, Melissa, was outstanding: She was very friendly, courteous, and attentive. Our meals were excellent.

   Our first time, and what a wonderful experience!! Fabulous ambiance,a great meal of classics, and a very helpful and delightful server. If it weren’t an hour from our house, we’d be here every week. The Tam is a treasure and a great night out.

    In my many visits to the Tam, this is the first time I was a bit disappointed with the food. My Tam cut prime rib arrived cold. When I mentioned this to my server, the plate was taken back to the kitchen immediately. When my medium-rare prime rib returned, the color of the meat had a horrible shade of brown; either it was now well done via microwaving or dunked in a jus. My server again took the plate back to the kitchen and a properly cooked prime rib arrived nice and hot, but the kitchen removed the untouched Yorkshire pudding from my plate. So again, my server was to the rescue with a trip to the kitchen, returning with a Yorkshire pudding. 5 stars to my server, but the kitchen staff needs better oversight and training.
