Locally sourced and seasonally inspired, Tavern on Kruse changes menus every 12 weeks as we weave the season's perfectly-fresh and perfectly ripe bounty into our offerings. Our executive chef, Nathan Bates, spent four and half years at the Michelin 3-Star "Fifth Floor" in San Francisco. Our space is elegant, but our staff is friendly and jovial as we see "people" as the reason for dining. We look forward to meeting you.

We have another 90 seats outdoors split between two patios which can be rented separately or in conjunction with indoor space, bringing our total event capacity to 200. Wonderful restaurant. Creative menu and great food thanks to a great chef. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I feel fortunate to have this restaurant in my neighborhood.

Service was good. Ordered the fried chicken which came with a very small serving of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese seemed to be just thrown on the plate, it was cold and probably had been sitting a while. Tap beer had an off taste. The crab dip appetizer was good but served with not enough bread, server did offer more which was very nice. Would not return.

The food was good and the service was excellent. However, the noise level in the restaurant is very high. Almost all of the loud noises appears to be coming from the bar area, so picking a time to eat when the bar is slow would be a good idea.

Despite being incredibly busy and with a reservation in the middle of the lunch rush the staff was amazing, thoughtful and thorough. Great experience and terrific food. Parking options were a bit scarce but the restaurant has no control over that, just be prepared.

Joined best pals for a Holiday brunch. We were seated in the front room with the huge garage doors, but had a glance of the festive Christmas tree at the entrance. I ordered the crab eggs benny with a side salad. The eggs were perfectly poached & runny. It was delicious & no need for a “to go” container! Steak bites & Caesar with chicken were the other orders.

Overall I enjoy Tavern on Kruse. Today was just not quite on the mark: the salad was a little wilted and the grapes past their prime. Nevertheless, I will definitely go back. My friend REALLY enjoyed her salad.

Our waitress was so personable and lovely. The pumpkin ravioli was fantastic and our entire meal was perfect!

I can't put my finger on one thing about this place, limited menu,over priced drinks, is it a tavern or restaurant, the staff wasn't very attentive as we stacked plates while the buser seemed to only get tables ready. Our party agreed that we would not come back which is the ultimate review.
