                                                                              This restaurant has all the ingredients to make it exceptional, they struggle putting the pieces together. We had salmon and pasta with sausage and cream sauce. The “roasted” vegetables served with the salmon was raw. The pasta was supposed to be sausage and mushroom with a tomato cream sauce. No cream in the sauce and a lot of raw mushrooms with little sausage. The server was confused about what to do when we complained. So we asked for the manager. She didn’t apologize, went into some spiel on how they pre-prepare food in the kitchen and did not apologize.

                                                                              Our group of four were seated for our reserved outside table. It was a blustery cool night. We requested that the shade be lowered to block the wind but were informed it was broken. We requested that the outside propane heater be lit. It took three requests before an employee lit the heater. Two diners ordered iced tea but were brought some type of soda instead of tea. The soup was lukewarm and the lasagne the same. The salmon was delicious and the cold octopus salad was tasty. The service was slow bordering on brusque. It took a very long time to bring our bill and it took at least 10 minutes for the server to return for our credit cards. We have had a number of good meals at Tavolino and in fact some years ago held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner party in its private room. Saturday night was a truly disappointing experience.
