                          We’ve visited CW and eaten at the Williamsburg Inn countless times before. This was by far the worse experience we’ve ever had. Reflecting, it’s been going downhill over the years. From the terrible service and lack luster food, just very disappointing for what we expected and it wasn’t cheap. We will be eating elsewhere next time, there are plenty of luxury dining options in the area that fit the bill as advertised.

                          Steak was undercooked, sent it back and then it was overcooked. Ate it anyways because we were hungry.

                          We were very disappointed in the Holiday High Tea. The experience was not very pleasant. The staff was unfriendly and we felt rushed the entire time. The tables were too close together so it was loud and the staff kept bumping into our seats. The food was ok but certainly not what was expected for the price. After the tax and service charge it was almost $100 a person so we definitely expected a better environment and time. I would not recommend. We attended High Tea about 4 years ago and it was a totally different experience. The Inn has definitely gone down hill over the years.

                          Everything was fine- just definitely not for the amount of money we spent. I don’t recommend the Pre fixed Christmas dinner at all. Just cost way too much for what you get.

                          The Christmas dinner was delicious. I had the short rib dish. Britain and Saif gave me amazing customer service and were friendly. Thank you for making a new tradition even better!

                          Perhaps I went in expecting too much but for two members of my party to order the same thing and the items come out completely different - down yo color taste and consistency was unacceptable.

                          We went to the Terrace room for the Christmas 4-course, pre fixe dinner. It was very expensive and over priced for what you got (bill for two was $300 without drinks; another $82 for 4 drinks). The food was good but not great. The portions were small. I was served the wrong soup and it had to be returned. The onion soup was so heavily salted that it couldn’t be finished by my dining partner. The print on the menus was so light it was really hard to read (the two tables next to us also had trouble). On the positive side, the room and atmosphere were beautiful. We were excited to have Christmas dinner in this historic and beautiful inn but were very disappointed in the experience.

                          Food was ok. Price was ridiculous. $80 per person for brunch, they had the nerve to charge $6 for a cup of coffee. The Inn certainly isn’t what it used to be. Will never return.

                          Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. The salmon was extraordinary as were the Dover scallops.
