Had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner. Although it was a "Special Event" with a prix fixe menu, the choices were great & the portions (as always) generous. A special thank-you to the bar staff for being able to provide my favorite Fig Sidecar, despite it no longer being on the active cocktail menu!

Had Mother's Day dinner with prix fix two course meal. The food was excellent and overall, the experience was very nice. I don't know if they were hammered, but it took a LOOONG time for the drinks to come. The food came very quickly, but the drinks arrived as the first course was brought to the table... so we actually ordered drinks, waited a while, then we gave our meal orders while the drinks were still not coming. I would have to chalk it up to an overload of customers on a very popular dining out day. Food was excellent and the price was fair. We haven't had a bad meal at Terrapin after dining there many, many times.

Very nice restaurant with large menu. I enjoyed soup and 3 small plates. A great way to taste a lot. So asparagus and ramp soup excellent. Lamb job good. Potatoes very good. Duck quesidea good. Wine list is very nice. I recommend a try to see how you enjoy the restaurant.

Delicious from start to finish. Calamari was outstanding as was the shrimp in sherry sauce appetizer. Short rib dinner was also very good.

I was expecting more of Terrapin. The old church setting is charming but sound reverberates. Some guests shouted as if at a sporting event...no quiet romantic dinner here. Our waiter was cordial. The mushroom soup and blueberry cake were excellent, but branzino cooked to death and Caesar salad virtually inedible. When a restaurant 's best offering is the hot bread...one knows there is something wrong in the kitchen! Soggy broccoli on a $43 entree and waiting 30 minutes for it! No! Go around the block and down the street and eat at the Thai restaurant Aroi, there's someone in their kitchen that cares!
