We were there Christmas evening, so our experience may not be typical. We arrived about 15 minutes early, and they seated us about 10-15 minutes late, which wasn't bad. We waited at the bar, which was not crowded. The bartender appeared to be prioritizing table drinks ahead of customers at the bar, so we had a 15-20 minute wait before we were even asked for our drink order. Same for the couple next to us. Once we were seated, we had probably a 10 minute wait before our server came to take our drink order. After that he was very attentive. As usual, enough food (appetizers?) was provided to the table to almost make a meal in itself: cheese rolls, french fries, fried plantains, and mashed potatoes. I had the buffet only. The lobster bisque and smoked salmon are always great, and there were plenty of vegetables, soups, and salad fixings to choose from. My husband had the full churrasco experience, and enjoyed all the meats. Overall a good experience.

Excellent food and excellent service, only issue I have a grievance with was our server, she was a bit sassy and rude but given that she was working on Christmas I could partially understand where that was coming from, however, I still don’t think it was very professional-on the flip side I will say she made sure to check in with us often and keep our glasses full. The food was absolutely delicious! The prime rib is a must try, it’s the best thing there in my personal opinion! The atmosphere is very nice, a very calm yet classy ambiance. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would visit again!

Much busier that I had anticipated for Christmas Day, especially compared to when we were there Thanksgiving. Day. Meat takes a certain time to cook properly so plan you visit around that, and I don't believe that 2:00 PM is a most conducive time, rather around noon or 4:00 PM seems better. The food was excellent, and if you are looking for a specific meat, mention it to your server and they will ensure the next skewer makes it to your table. The restaurant was packed, and they managed quite well, remembering the employees gave up their families on Christmas to serve you. As good as any we had in Rio de Janeiro, although we though the Belmond Hotel at Iguassu was better. Definitely a return visit is in order on a less busy day. If you are a meat eater, you can't go wrong!

Every year I bring my daughter and my grandkids up to Birmingham for a special pre-Christmas celebration. They always have a wonderful experience and look forward to going again next year. The food was delicious as always and the experience with my wife, daughter and all four of grandchildren leaves us with another year of memories.
