So a Brazilian Steakhouse is about spectacle more than about quality of food. The servers are called gauchos and what they wear is a costume more than a uniform. They are for the most part well-trained and excellent. The food is more hit or miss— if you go to a steakhouse and order one steak, you expect that steak to be perfectly prepared. But if you go to a Brazilian steakhouse, the meat is somewhat inconsistent. Not every bite of meat you eat is going to be amazing. Some of it will, no doubt, but the methods of preparation and serving ensure that you will be offered some meat that is not fantastic. The best thing to do is not to accept every kind of meat you’re offered. Pay attention to the gaucho when they’re speaking, they’ll tell you what the cut of meat is, and also the doneness. I for one don’t care for medium, medium well, or well-done steak, so I hold out for the rarer cuts. Also, if you don’t care for a piece of meat you’re served, don’t eat it. Leave it on your plate. And the salad bar— you’re paying a high price for meat, so why fill up on less expensive dishes? The salad bar at Texas de Brazil is not so great anyway. However, if you love meat, this meal is a decadent way to have lots of it.

Alena was amazing! It was my man’s first experience and she explained everything really well. Checked on us throughout the night and made sure we had the best experience!

One of our favorite places to visit, the food is always excellent . Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful experience once again.

Waiter was outstanding. He explained multiple times to other waiters for medium rare, and the only meat that kept coming was well to well done. So I was waiting 5-7 minutes for a single piece of meat, that was medium or under. Waited 30 minutes for the filet medium rare. So I just ended with the other meat. Usually a great experience but this one was lacking. Great waiter though.

One of the meat servers was horrible walking away with the food before offering. Moe was fantastic and Hunter was great as well. Just takes one to ruin the night. He asked if I believed in God and when I asked what the skewer of meat was he replied it's food! Ridiculous!!

Had one server constantly offering meat to one person at our table then ignoring the rest of the table. Did this on 3 different occasions. Had a table with children who were not being controlled thus was very loud and disturbing. If hockey families are going to come in, maybe put them in an isolated location seeing the parents don't control their children.

The evening was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door! Staff at all levels was polite and courteous. Management has done a great job at this Buffalo location keeping it clean and updated...besides the training they give to their staff. All the food was awesome but be careful to not take too much from the salad bar...it is very tempting but then you'll miss out on some of the perfectly prepared meats.
