The Berkshire Room is an upscale lounge specializing in craft cocktails all created by a talented team. The atmosphere is retro classy and definitely worth a visit before or after dinner for cocktails with friends. There is ample seating either in the private side rooms, the booths in the lounge area or at the bar. The clientele that frequent the Berkshire Room rave about the dealers' choice, which allows guests to choose the spirit, flavor profile and glassware. The bartender then customizes a unique and customized cocktail.

Besides the tasty cocktails and the relaxing ambiance, the Berkshire also offers bar snacks and small dishes. The Berkshire room is located within River North's swanky ACME hotel.

As always, love the cocktails at Berkshire Room - they’re delicious. The best option is the dealers choice if you don’t know what you want and the bar tenders will whip you up something great!

I was celebrating my husband’s birthday with our family visiting for California. We had 10 ppl and made This reservation in advance but I don’t know about our server. It was a very sub par experience. Where he just seems lacking in experience or maybe thought we weren’t going to spend money. Please know we love strong cocktails and just wanted to hangout, laugh, catch up since our last gathering in February in California. I wish I recalled his name-maybe he didn’t even introduce himself. He was barely around. The times we caught him, we tried to order shots and asked for recommendations. The shots requested weren’t avail which is fine but I wish he couldn’t been knowledgeable enough to share recommendations. The night before we were at another bar with 26 ppl and one server. She took care of all of us with ease and had other tables too. I’ve been to other bars plenty in large group settings at well - violet hour, three dots, lazy bird, apogee. I’ve also been to Berkshire room in the pas as well and have never had an issue. if there’s no cocktail I want, the server will usually start spouting off recs left and right. I always appreciate that. He didn’t have to be super attentive, but atleast acknowledge us and apologize, “ sorry for the delay, sorry we don’t have this but I can recommend this,” it’s the small things that will change/ make the experience better. I hate taking people to places I highly recommend just to be given a negative experience. I’ll still come back because I enjoyed the drinks but with a smaller group.

This place was just ok in my experience. Had a drink and it was mediocre nothing special with the kettle chips and dip which was good. The place is very dark inside and the ambiance was too loud and nothing special!

Excellent mature adult spot for every tasty cocktails that are sure to give you a little buzz!! Great staff. Very accommodating and hard working. This is my second time here abd a would definitely return!

Great spot for craft cocktails with a retro cool interior, awesome bartenders and drinks. Took one star off for the food only because there are no dairy / red meat free options on the bites menu, except for olives and nuts..would have been nice if there were turkey or veggie burger sliders on the menu

This is a favorite bar. We don’t ever eat here because it’s just snacks. But we have a social evening here 2-3 times/month. Love this place! Two words: bourbon list!
