Since 1996, The Bistro at Red Bank has been a staple of the local dining scene. What started as a neighborhood BYO with global flair has evolved into something bolder, moodier, and unmistakably Mediterranean.

Our new direction draws from the flavors and energy of the Mediterranean coast—wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, char-grilled vegetables, and bold, seasonal ingredients served in a sultry, modern setting. The Bistro has been constituently top natch for years. The new menu which included a new chicken dish does not disappoint. I tried the chicken Scarpiello and it was outstanding! my friend ordered the Octopus and said it is always the best at Bistro. The prices are fair, and an added bonus is that it is a BYOB. I must say, I do miss their fabulous Pear and Roquefort salad, but maybe, just maybe....

Went there specifically for their Sushi and Poke Bowl. Unfortunately it is no longer in the menu. However, the food and service were still great!

My wife and I and another couple who are dear friends had dinner before attending a show at the Count Basie Theater. We only had a little over an hour to eat and we enjoyed every minute. Our food was delicious, Destiny was a terrific server and the ambiance was perfect. We will certainly return to Bistro when back in Redbank.

Food & ambiance was good. Server was nice and attentive, but we felt rushed out the door when we asked to see the dessert menus for our table of 4. Was told she’d bring the dessert menus, but we need the table, so it’ll have to be quick. Granted it was a Saturday night, but there’s a better way to say it to your customers. As a result, we decided against dessert, and likely won’t return as a result.

Our reservation was honored on time. Hostess greeted us warmly. Our server, Grace, was attentive and gracious. Food was wonderful, as always. Thank you for always being reliably great -and never feel rushed!

Making a reservation and standing in line at the restaurant that has no where to stand was an unfortunately not a great experience. The menu/specials were minimal.
