The Bistro is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, right next door to Biltmore's award-winning winery. Please be aware that you must have a valid paid estate admission ticket, be staying at Inn on Biltmore Estate or Village Hotel, or be a Biltmore Annual Passholder to dine on property. Please note that due to limited seating availability we are unable to accept reservations for our patio. All patio seating is assigned on a first come first served basis.

The Bistro features contemporary American fare. Fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients are the focus on the dinner menu, which features premium steaks, impeccable mountain trout and seafood, poultry and lamb. Gardens on the estate produce a wide array of vegetables and fruits throughout the seasons, and our extensive pasture lands provide all-natural, hormone-free Black Angus beef and lamb.

    Another fantastic meal at the Bistro. Salads, Caesar and estate greens were perfectly dressed and presented. French onion soup was deemed delicious but a tad sweet for the eater. Entrees. My husband got the pork chop. I tried it and it was extremely tender and delicious. Two of us got the hanger steak special with frites. The chimicurri sauce was perfect, steak cooked as ordered and the frites were hot and crisp. Another delicious entree Dessert. Two of us got decaf espresso which was perfectly prepared and presented with lemon slice and a little sugar. One person got the Paris Brest. The choux was incredible , filling delicious, everything they were hoping for and more Our server has been with them for 20 years and his experience showed. We were not rushed, table kept cleared as needed, questions about the food did not phase him and he answered accurately. We did not tell anyone it was a birthday celebration. But as celebrations and meals go this was on top of our list for experiences. And a Sunday in January was a nice treat as the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. So the noise level allowed good conversations.

    The bread and butter is excellent. The wines were superb and paired well with dinner. The crème brûlée was exquisite. Definitely on the list for another visit next time in Asheville.

    Food was great. Farm fresh produce and the filet, although very small for the price, was good. Only criticism would be that we all ordered medium and the steaks were medium well. Service was excellent.

    The hostess was welcoming. Our server Natalie was awesome. The food and drinks were delicious. It was overall an excellent experience.

    Halibut was outstanding. Great wine and salad. Rib eye was a bit tough and lacked seasoning. Very good service.

    Excellent Bistro on the Biltmore Estate. Pricey, but very good. The used to have a good variety of pizzas but their pizza oven is broken, and for unfathomable reasons, remains unusable.
