Beginning Monday, March 29, 2021 we will temporarily be closed Monday and Tuesday. Please check our social media or website at bendblacksmith.com for further updates.
We will be open Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 9:30pm and 4:00 to 10:30pm Friday and Saturday with reservations beginning at 5:00pm nightly. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Under new ownership since 2013, come discover Bend's dining at it's best! The Blacksmith Restaurant serves Distinctive Bold Cuisine in the historic Pierson’s Blacksmith Shop at the corner of Greenwood Avenue and Harriman. The restaurant has made diners nostalgic for the comfort foods of the past with a contemporary spin.

We love Blacksmith for the overall experience, and the meal is always so delicious! We know the steak choices and sauces are outstanding, and never disappoint! Staff is professional and so nice! Thanks Blacksmith for celebrating my husband's birthday with us!

Food was a solid good. Service was okay. Our server and the other staff were slightly rude-not engaged and the mood was blah. We definitely won’t be returning for anything special. There are so many great restaurants in Bend, and this one doesn’t stand out for us.

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and the Blacksmith delivered a perfect experience. They can now lay claim to having the best carrot cake in town.

Had a wonderful time last night my husband and I went for our anniversary and valentines and the food was so delicious and service was amazing overall a pleasant experience!

First time trying out this restaurant and I must say we loved everything great food great service great atmosphere will definitely be going back soon thank you guys!!!!!

We hadn’t been to the blacksmith for years. Went recently to celebrate a special occasion. Our server was a delightful lady. Very pleasant and attentive. The food was good. Very high prices but good. My filet was a little over cooked but good . I ordered their surf and turf and I’ll say I’ve never seen scallops so tiny. Not sure what’s up with that. There was some Turkish guy talking on his speakerphone for half our dinner, loud and obnoxious. Really bad. I would’ve sent him away if I was managing the restaurant. Rude as hell. Anyway, we went because we had a gift card but I’d be hesitant to go again mostly due to value and quality I guess.

Lets start with ambience. There are a number of trendy hotspots that have opened in the last couple of years. The noise level is deafening. It was so nice to be able to have a dinner conversation without shouting at each other. Nice lighting, comfortable seating, just a very nice setting. Service. In a word OUTSTANDING. From the moment we entered we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly words. Dinner and drinks were served at a leisurely (but not slow) pace. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. She was just there at the right times. Food. Well here's where it gets uneven. Companion ordered the crab cakes with a caesar salad. $38 bucks seemed like a lot for a couple of crab cakes, but these were delicious and she could barely finish them. The salad was huge, delicious and expertly prepared. The Ribeye- I used to always get this and they were always tender and delicious. Not this one. I have shoes that would be easier to cut than the steak I was served. It was kind of like driving down a long road strewn with potholes. I kept searching for a tender piece but never found one. Worst steak I've had since the Sizzler closed down. Unforgiveable at $78.

We were very much looking forward to our reservation. The staff was wonderful and the restaurant and setting were fantastic. However, the drinks and food were very underwhelming, especially when considering the cost.
