The Blue Fish Restaurant and Oyster Bar is located historic Avondale, one of Jacksonville's most prestigious neighborhoods. Just minutes from downtown Jacksonville, we offer the freshest selections of seafood in creative recipes, including a large variety of specialty oysters, great steaks, fresh catch, and nightly specials. Light plate options available for the smaller appetite. Jacksonville's best Happy Hour 3-6:30pm daily. Al fresco dining available on our patios.. Our wine list is quite affordable with over 60 wines by the glass. We have two full bars with a late-night upstairs club. We are upscale casual and perfect for business or casual dinners, with friends, family or date night. Full banquet facilities available including private dining rooms that seat up to 70.

Haven't been for a while. and never for brunch. We brought some friends with us. Everything was great. Waiter was terrific, food delicious, ambiance wonderful as always. And something you don't get to say too often, the value was excellent.

They ran out of a lot of food items, took forever to get her food and did not cook the way we ordered it

Food was decent problem was we where told the patio had heaters and when we get to patio no heaters where working.

A great experience for Valentines Day! Food was amazing and our server was very attentive. We are looking forward to going back soon.

We went the day before Valentines and enjoyed our meal. However the restaurant was set up to accommodate more tables for two and very small round tables were used. They were so small that it was difficult to get water and wine glasses in addition to bread plates, entrees and any other condiments on the table without feeling that the table was way too small. In addition, the table wobbled (which the server eventually fixed). We've eaten many times at Blue Fish and always enjoy the food and service but we just felt a little overwhelmed with such little space enjoy the food. Richard was our server and he was great as always.

Mediocre seafood for Jacksonville. The preparation was lacking. There are so many better choices. We had a party of six and everyone got something different. No one was impressed.

We hadn't visited in many years so we went last night with another couple. Our server, Richard P., was amazing!! So attentive , friendly & thoughtful. It was our friends anniversary and he brought out a bread pudding to celebrate. It was the absolute BEST pudding I have ever eaten and I'm not a dessert person. We couldn't stop talking about it. So delicious!! I had the seafood cobb, so different and so tasty. My husband had the Grouper, which he raved about, the cheeseburger eggrolls were amazing! So cheesy and good. The bang bang shrimp was to die for. The prices on the drinks and food was extremely reasonable and the portions were big. I can go on and on. All I can say is go try it for yourself and have a taste of heaven! Thank you Richard for being the perfect host. We will definitely ask for you when we come back! Great job to ALL!!!! Thank you! :)
