The Boathouse at Saugatuck is an exciting American seafood restaurant with panoramic views of the Saugatuck River. House in the Saugatuck Rowing Club, this Westport restaurant is situated on the second floor (elevator accessible) with indoor as well as limited outdoor dining on our covered deck and first floor water front terrace when weather permits.

If you are not able to book on OpenTable, please call us at 203-227-3399 and depending upon availability, we may be able to accommodate you. We are limiting bookings to 90 minutes. If you are more than 15 minutes late your reservation is at risk. Please take travel time into account in order to be on time.

We will make every attempt to honor reservation requests for our upstairs deck. However, due to limited seating outdoors, high demand and the ever changing weather, we cannot guarantee seating on the deck.

Requesting "Outdoor Seating" on your OpenTable reservation does not guarantee a table is available at the time you request.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at The Boathouse. We enjoyed our meal. It was $85 for an appetizer, entree and dessert.

Beautiful view. The waiter was lovely and attentive. All the food was excellent quality. A few items were under seasoned but the filet with gorgonzola butter and the rolls were delicious. The red velvet cake was delicious.

Excellent dining experience. We were a table of four, celebrating my teenager's birthday with Sunday brunch. The staff were attentive but not smothering, the food was delicious and the view was lovely. Great food from start to finish and they sang a sweet, hearty rendition of "Happy Birthday". We will definitely come back for another special occasion ... or maybe just because! It's pricey, but the view is lovely and the parking was a breeze so when you consider those factors, it's actually a great value.

This was a special dinner service for New Year’s Eve and it was indeed special. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. The portions were generous and although a special menu there were many choices from filet to vegetarian strudel. Great atmosphere and beautiful location.

NYE is usually a nightmare, but we had a really nice meal - surprisingly one of the best we've ever enjoyed at the Boathouse. The carnivore, vegetarian, and gluten free diners in our party were very satisfied. I'll ding the rating a little bit due to the long wait between appetizers and main courses, the waitstaff could have been more attentive to the wine service (and the bottle list is a little lackluster), and the host sat us in the somewhat cramped dining room after we had requested a table on the heated deck (which could have easily been accommodated). But considering how good the food was, overall this was a successful night.

New Year's Eve Dinner. Lovely. Great food and great service. Enjoyed and will return - hopefully before a full year passes!

We love having any meal the The Boathouse at Saugatuck! The food is always above and beyond delicious and the staff is warm, friendly and most accommodating to special requests. We always feel relaxed and never rushed while enjoying the gorgeous views.
