Transport yourself into a magical fairytale and prepare for an unforgettable experience. Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate your birthday, to have an elegant lunch, or romantic dinner our beautifully decorated cake shop is the perfect place. Please note, for Afternoon Tea reservations, please contact our Events team directly.

Delicious three-layer cakes, as well as cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts fill our elegantly designed display case and are served daily. For the savory side, we offer an expanded lunch and dinner menu featuring some traditional dishes as well as our signature quiche and chicken salad. Our menu changes seasonally, to ensure every experience is a new one. Everything on our menu is house made from scratch daily with our commitment to the highest quality and ingredients. Gwendolyn's Cake Bake Shop has become the destination of Indianapolis for celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and all life's special occasions.

    The decor is always amazing. It’s like being immersed in a winter wonderland. The chicken velvet soup is the best! Our server was prompt. The portions were plenty so we had to take our cake home. I would highly recommend either the millionaire or red velvet cakes!

    We had a wonderful first-time experience at The Cake Bake Shop! Our server was very sweet - and everyone was helpful! The food was delicious! We bought a coconut cream pie to celebrate our granddaughter and grandson’s birthdays the next day! Beautifully decorated Shop.., and a lovely experience!!

    The desserts were 5 star but don't waste your time on the food. It was bland and way overpriced!! Plus they charge an additional $45 for 6 or more people. (I must have missed that when I booked the reservation.) I would go back but for dessert only and with less than 6 people!!

    Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The unicorn hot chocolate was a hit with my 4 year old.

    Service not up to par today. We expect a certain level of service having been to the Carmel location, but it wasn't present today.

    I have always enjoyed the Broad Ripple location, it is so quaint and charming. Daniela, our server, was exceptional. I wish it would offer a wider selection of menu items for lunch/dinner.
