Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Capital Grille definitely not what it used to be. Although it’s been awhile since we’ve dined at the Fort Worth location, things haven’t improved. We decided to give it another try, with so many steakhouses in the immediate vicinity, we had hoped they upped their game. Yes, it was the weekend before Xmas it was very busy with multiple large parties. However, that doesn’t excuse the mediocre service from our server Jake, who seemed slow, uniformed & inattentive. He couldn’t describe or didn’t know how to explain some of the dishes we asked about. One person in our party wanted his lump crab & salad delivered at same time as it was his entree, it was not. Our wine that we wanted with dinner was delivered after we finished the main course. The food was very good but the service was not the kind of service Capital Grille was previously known for. Because it’s the holidays I feel management should have been prepared for the crowds and plan accordingly or they need to retrain their staff. We probably won’t return.

    Amazing! I brought 5 of my girlfriends for a Christmas Dinner party. The staff were as always first class, I love the classy hunting lodge feel of the interior and our main server Brenda who has worked there 15 years made the night even more special. She is an expert at their menu and had perfect timing allowing us a slow and leisurely experience! Thank you!

    The food and service were excellent! The Steakhouse ambiance is top notch. Seafood Items were also amazing like the Lobster and Crab Cakes and the Lobster Mac. The Steaks of course were outstanding. My only issue is if you are a Manhattan drinker they shook the Manhattan at the table and poured it into my glass. This dilutes and aerates the Rye or Bourbon. The waiter was great "Jake" and was very willing to remake the Manhattan. Overall, 5 Stars!

    We couldn’t have asked for better service or a meal for our son’s birthday! We arrived to a table decorated, seeing the kitchen with the perfect amount of noise. Raquel was amazing in making him feel special and going above and beyond. Can’t wait to come back! (Don’t skip out on the Filet, mashed potatoes, asparagus, chocolate dessert and cheesecake!)

    We came in as first-timers but left knowing we will return here as often as possible. Thoroughly impressed with the waitstaff, the presentation and of course the food. Each step of the meal is well-thought and expertly delivered. Next level establishment.

    Firstly the food was so good. Steaks cooked perfectly. Sides and desserts were delicious. Our server, Peter was really good. He was very busy but still managed to give us attention. However his support staff were not to the same standard. Firstly when we checked in with a reservation, we were told to “step back, we will be with you in a minute” and were then left for 10 mins not sure what we were supposed to be doing , while others were seated in front of us. Drink orders were mixed up, and gluten free bread brought with zero explanation as to what it was. Just little hiccups, but certainly affected the enjoyment of our meal.
