   What a lovely dinner we had tonight at the Capital Grille in Tampa. The cocktails were superb as was the food and the service. Brian was an attentive server and we appreciated him. Hope to come back soon.

   Service was not great, had to ask for basic things and needed to ask multiple times. They were nice, but not really a fine dining experience. Overrated and overpriced for the experience.

   My husband and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary. The wait was within reason (we had reservations). The ambience was nice, noise level was tolerable (probably request for a booth next time, but this was not on the restaurant). The service was spectacular. Karen was our waiter and she did an amazing job! My only issue is that I ordered the lamb chops medium well, which was explained cooked with a sliver of pink. Well, they came with 4 and I ate one at the restaurant and the boxed the other 3 to go home because I was full. The one I had at the restaurant was sliver of pink, the others were more medium, but didn’t find that out until I got home. I had to cook them up a little more when I got home. Other than that, all was good.

   Katie the server was fantastic. The appetizers (lobster crab cake and calamari) was excellent. The side (au gratin potatoes) was excellent. The Brussel sprouts were burnt and not good. I’ve always had a good steak here, but do not get the bone-in filet. First off it is mostly and I mean mostly grizzle and definitely not worth the $80! My daughter had the tenderloin : lobster combo, and that was ok, albeit small for $70. Like I said, our server was excellent and if not for that, I would have probably left as we were celebrating our 26 year wedding Anniversary.
