Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     The food was wonderful and worth the value. The wine list by the glass was limited, as there were no Merlot wines. However I found a good Cab that I enjoyed. The service was extremely slow between courses. This is why they did not receive more stars.

    Went on Christmas Eve and the place was packed. Service was great and food was delicious. Started out with a blue cheese wedge and French onion soup. 10oz filet for meal and had it “Kona rubbed” makes it so flavorful!! Cream Corn, scalloped potatoes were the side dishes. Everything tasted amazing!

    We ALWAYS have a great meal and great service. Matt was EXCELLENT! The prices have become ridiculous in these type of restaurants in Tampa. $500 for a family of 4, which didn’t include a bottle of wine! That said, the only downfall to this restaurant is that it’s located in a mall and has NO DRESS CODE! It takes the great ambience and beautiful decor and makes you feel like you’re in a diner. There was a guy at the table next to me wearing shorts and a t-shirt that he apparently slept in. If you want to charge that much for a meal, at least enforce some type of dress code. Even with the ridiculous prices and letting under dressed people in, we’ll definitely be back!

    Our experience was outstanding! It was our first time dining there and it was for our 45th wedding anniversary. They weren’t aware in advance that we were celebrating but when I mentioned it to our waiter he went above and beyond to make it very special!

    Enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration dinner with the family. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming with elegant Christmas decor!

    Carlos is an amazing server. He was so accommodating and make sure we would always have everything we need! & the food was once again amazing this is one of my favorite steakhouses. They went above and beyond for my sister birthday once again!

    I had the porcini rubbed ribeye, cooked medium rare to perfection. Our service was very accommodating with little to no inconveniences. Recommended.
