Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Our server Karen was fantastic! So attentive and helpful. The quality of the filet was awesome. Cocktails were strong and delicious.

    Ordered the steak frites with rosemary French fries. Steak was cooked to perfection. Excellent It was crowded and we had to wait 20 min to get seated even though we had a 1 PM reservation. Sat in the back, which was great because of the noise level, but under a vent so we were freezing the entire time. Other than that, the food was really good.

    When one thinks of CG they think it is an upper level steakhouse. However the service we receive wasn’t upper level. The lack of attendance to our table was less that we’ve received at an Outback Steak house. (Not to step on Outback because their prices meet your expectations) Drinks (bar and water) were empty for long periods of time. At one point I had to ask another server to find our server. Both servers were not around. (Poor service) We purposely went there on a Thursday night to avoid the holiday rush. Our sitting room was not full so too many tables is not an excuse. Just poor service. Again I am not one to write reviews like this and I do not mind paying $$$ for quality service, drinks, and food. The food was ok. But not a good as other same level restaurants. Sorry to say, CG lost us as repeat customers last night. We entertain for business purposes. There is too many places in Tampa that take pride in their high quality level of service and food. CG just seems like your topical chain steakhouse. In my opinion.

    Dinner at Capital Grille was excellent. Our server, Anjelica, was friendly, helpful, and professional. She provided the perfect amount of attention without being obtrusive. She helped my husband choose between two dishes and he was happy with her suggestion. It was a busy night and food delivery slowed a bit, but she kept us informed and made sure to accommodate us with a surprise at the end of the meal. The food was excellent and other staff made brief appearances to check on us. Great place for a nice meal.

    Great service and delicious food as always. We celebrated our anniversary there for lunch and were also given a sample dessert to celebrate.
