The Carriage House Restaurant is now open for Lunch and Dinner. Reservations are highly recommend.

The Carriage House Restaurant at Houmas House and Gardens offers a more casual dining experience in one of the most beautiful Dining Rooms in America. Whether dining at our 40 foot long grand dining room table, or an intimate table for two, our style is Comfortable and Southern. Our menu is a collection of Classic Southern Dishes, with twists to make them our very own.

Great venue to meet old friends for a beautiful lunch. Turtle bar is always entertaining and the staff is lovely.

Had the best Valentine's dinner with the family. Redfish and eggplant Napoleon were great. The A9 Wagyu Fillet was outstanding. Best steak I ever tasted, and I frequent steaks. Look forward to coming back.

Valentines date night. The setting is just beautiful. The dining room is large but accommodating. Service is always excellent. The cocktails were delicious, and we found a decent wine on their small list. All the food was excellent. Finally, plenty of photo opportunities on the lighted grounds. A perfect night!
