The Cellar at Duckworth’s combines gastropub fare from our chef-driven menu, with a tap list of specialty and rare beers served at appropriate temperatures to their styles, and signature cocktails that are hand crafted to order by our mixologists. Inspired by an era of time that’s long past, the underground space built originally in 1912, naturally has a speakeasy, prohibition-era feel with its original brick walls and exposed ceiling joists. Even our attentive staff dresses the part from the era. We hope to take you back in time for a bit while enjoying good food and drink with friends and family.

Food was great. Server made my group feel pushed out in the sense that we needed to vacate our table. One of our guests meals didn't come out until some of our group had already paid for their meals. Recommend improved training for servers responsible for tables consisting of more than 6 guests. Makes for a poor experience. Cost of food is expensive here. The service should match the level of cost that the patron is paying for the experience.

Our meal was outstanding as was our server, Jesse, was a lovely gal and extremely helpful with menu choices. We were visiting Charlotte for a wedding and will be sure to go back should we end up near Charlotte again. It's the best meal we've had at a restaurant in a while.

Cool spot. Very loud, needs sound deadening. 4.5 on Yelp for food is why we chose.

Incredible ambiance from the get-go. Walking down the stairs you’re met with low lighting, flickering candles and 20’s music that really makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into a speakeasy. Not to be outdone by the ambiance and awesome service, the food and drink are great! The truffle mac might take the cake but the cellar burger and duck confit were amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for a date night.

The food was very good. I had the filet. It was prepared exactly as I expected. Julie did an excellent job taking care of us.

Overall we had a great time. We were having date night and we couldn’t have picked a better price. This was an our 2nd time trying The Cellar and making reservations is the way to go. Noise level was expected considering they were busy but overall still a great time.

Very cool place. The variety of food was fun. Executed well. Great cocktails. Super cool environment. Men’s room toilet hadn’t been cleaned in a month, hand towel dispenser didn’t work, but everything else was really good. Definitely going back.
