The Depot Restaurant - Seaview features casual fine dining offering a Chef's Table to watch owner Chef Michael Lalewicz perform his magic from a display kitchen. The covered heated deck adds outdoor seating. A northwest and international wine list offers 16 wines by the glass, five microbrews and a hard cider on-tap. This 132 year old train station from the peninsula's Clamshell Railroad feels like a French Bistro especially when seated at the 9 seat counter reminding one of the Orient Express. Northwest Palate claims "Lalewicz has food angels in the kitchen" and food writer Gerry Frank of the Oregonian declares "the Depot is one of the best Dinner Houses in the Northwest"

                                              We celebrated a birthday here and it was one of the best we’ve experienced yet, thanks to the great food and extremely kind staff. The lamb rack was perfectly done, and the rice it came with was delicious. We also loved the cocktails, and how cozy and welcoming the space was. No pretentiousness here, just fresh ingredients cooked to showcase their goodness.

                                              The food was GREAT. My wife had the rib eye stake, and I had the Halibut. Both of the specials were sooo good. We will be back.

                                              Haven’t been here since it changed hands, and wow, they haven’t lost a step. Split the wilted spinach salad, I had the 14oz rib eye, she had halibut special, split the brownie a la mode. All were outstanding. The new old fashioned was tasty too. We’ll be back!

                                              We absolutely love The Depot Restaurant!! Made reservations 2 months ago for our favorite table, #20, and our favorite server, Don!! Love our bus boy, Weston!! The 14oz ribeye was done to perfection and the Blue Cheese Garlic sauce on the ribeye was the best I’ve ever had!! Thank you!!!

                                              This is the best restaurant on the Peninsula! We always go there for special occasions, or when we want a delicious meal. The food is consistently fresh and prepared beautifully. We also always ask to be seated in Don's section as he is the consummate waiter. He's friendly, knowledgeable and makes sure our orders are perfect!! I highly recommend The Depot for a fine dining experience.

                                              If you are looking for fine dining, The Depot is your restaurant. The service is impeccable and the food is absolutely delicious! We recommend the braised pork or steak Killian. Both were fantastic. And don’t forget dessert. Scrumptious bites!

                                              Had an early Valentines dinner with my husband at The Depot and I ordered the small plate of oysters and the wilted spinach salad. The oysters were huge so 4 was plenty, and the wilted spinach salad was absolutely delicious. Husband had the 14 oz. ribeye which was too big for one dinner, so he had the leftovers for lunch. I think they have updated their sourcing for the ribeye's as they have so much less fat (which is great) than the ribeye's they used to serve a few years ago. Everything was delicious and my husband even got to swap out the smashed potatoes for his favorite potato's au gratin. Always special when we have dinner at The Depot!
