Welcome to The Dime. Fine dining and libations at one of the top restaurants in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The creative force behind The Dime’s Italian Steakhouse menu is a team of culinary adventurers and artisans dedicated to their craft. We offer guests an elevated, modern dining experience featuring house made pastas, premium-cut steaks, unique desserts, superior wine list, and distinctive cocktails. The sophisticated space is welcoming and warm, featuring stunning views of downtown Allentown and the rolling hills beyond. Join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

The Dime is located on the third floor of the Renaissance Allentown Hotel. For those who are not guests of the hotel, enter using the elevators in the lobby located on Seventh Street - just off of Hamilton Street and adjacent to the PPL Center.

                                            Ambiance and location are great. We had a salad, Brussels, and burrata appetizers. The spring rolls we wanted were already sold out. The Brussels were great, salad was good, but the burrata and the items on the tray with it had no flavor (minus the crostini- which was very crispy and tasty). The service was slow as far as getting another drink and waitstaff coming back to check on you, but the food did come quickly. It’s rough on a show night for staff and I think people get that. So I’d say it’s what you’d expect with a better than average atmosphere.

                                            Very nice ambiance. They were short staff but did an amazing with servicing all the guests . Food was absolutely great . Definitely would recommend.

                                            The food was terrible, everything was greasy. This is the third time we have eaten here (out to convenience) to see a show and this will be the last. The restaurant was not busy so I would expect some attention to detail and basically everything we ordered was not good. The server asked how everything was and I gave her my honest response that it was not good. The response I received was "I am so sorry, can I get your check" To which I paid my entire bill and threw all of the food away. If you are going to run a restaurant with the look of a higher caliber then perhaps you invest in a chef?

                                            Terrible food - terrible service- supposed to be a higher end restaurant, was horrible. I was shocked because Marriott Renaissance Hotels are usually a bit upscale. The menus are print paper that are laminated - like a diner. Very disappointing
