                                            The Dock is a unique and exquisite dining experience. Everything about it is exceptional, from the setting to the service to the food. There aren't many restaurants around that offer this level of intimacy and perfectly prepared food! It is a great place to celebrate life's special occasions.

                                            Terrific little spot - cozy restaurant on the water with amazing service and even better food. Everything was fresh and tasty, plated beautifully and the service was friendly and on point. A+ all around. We’ll be back.

                                            Everything was outstanding! We had a beautiful dinner at The Dock on Saturday night. We started with the delicious bread and then moved on to our first course: the salad and octopus. For the main course, we ordered the special of the day—halibut served over risotto. The risotto was perfectly cooked, and each dish showcased a beautiful balance of flavors.

                                            It had been close to twenty years since I last dined at this divine Bayside restaurant. Last night's dinner was a birthday celebration, and after all this time I remain impressed with every aspect of The Dock. The bay outlook, the comfortable seating, the pleasant, warm attitude of our server, and the food was more than fabulous. I am already planning my return!

                                            My wife took me there for dinner for my 50th birthday. The service was outstanding. The staff were very interactive, chatty and friendly. The food was amazing, I had the lamb, best I've ever had, and my wife had the lobster, it was also delicious. We will definitely be going back.

                                            We grew up in Newport and I’ve been back in CDM for twenty years. Best dining experience we’ve had in Newport! The food, service, and ambiance were superb! The perfect place for a date night or special occasion dining experience.

                                            We celebrated my wife’s birthday by booking a reservation for Sunday early evening at 5 p.m. This timing worked out great for us, because the restaurant was not busy and no one was seated near us. We were given the table for two right on the water. We split the beet salad which was excellent and plenty of food for two. My wife had the halibut, which was exquisite. I had the lobster tail, which was excellent. The sommelier basically gave us 2 for 1 glasses of a French white burgundy. Before dinner we each had one cocktail which both did not chintz on the alcohol content. We were given a free tiny appetizer and a free birthday dessert with two complimentary glasses of champagne. Everything was delicious. The servers worked together to provide just the right amount of attention. It was truly a fine dining experience in every sense of the word. We will return for special occasions.
