Influenced by its location in the elegant Normandy Farm Hotel, The Farmer's Daughter is the culinary cornerstone of this historic property & offers an unforgettable dining experience with an exceptional menu of Chef Mtele "Abu" Abubakar`s "Modern Farm Cooking". At The Farmer's Daughter, heirloom and locally sourced ingredients are brought to life on the plate in the form of pure flavors and innovative dishes inspired by the seasons and harvests of our surrounding region. We aspire to give our guests a sense of personal connection to the farmers, brewers, cheese mongers, distillers, winemakers and charcuterie craftsmen who collectively help create an exceptional dining experience.                                                                                 It was a lovely lunch with friends. The food was really wonderful and the service exceptional. It was not very crowded in the dining room so we had a lot of privacy and were able to talk to each other and hear each other easily.

                                                                                We love the Farmers Daughter and selected for our daughter’s 16th birthday dinner. Service and food were good. Only dish that was disappointing (and not typical bc I’ve had it before) was the pork osso bucco. The potato and squash hash was not cooked so the veggies were still hard. Additionally the fried onion crisps on top were strange for the dish. Not needed. Finally the pork was flavored and tasted delicious but seemed like the end of the night portion (little dry). The filet mignons were delicious. crab cakes and tuna were amazing as always.

                                                                                Excellent food and menu! Highly recommend. One watch out- noise level. The dining room was very loud due to some large tables of lively people attending a business dinner. We wished they were in a private room.

                                                                                Food was ok, but not great. Been wanting to try Farmers Daughter for a long time because I had heard how good it was. Might have been an off night. Will try it again.

                                                                                Everything was very good. Waitress could have been more attentive. Was craving their chicken salad but it wasn’t on the buffet today due to them having their winter menu out. The chicken salad is so good, it should be a staple for the buffet.

                                                                                Restaurant was very loud but we got used to it. Appetizers were fine but expected a more impressive charcuterie board than what we received. Drink were good and coffee at end of evening was very good. 2 of 4 meals were not great. Steak cut was tough and over sauced. Risotto was not very impressive- lacked on the scallops and flavor. We did have a nice evening but were under impressed for cost and quality of food. Service was very good however.

                                                                                Overall, I thought the food was good.  it was nothing exceptional. The omelette station chef was amazing and our server was excellent as well. The cupcakes were dry, threw a couple desserts that were not really good. I suggest more bread selections besides bagels like sourdough toast, or rye. I’d also, the chili was over seasoned/salty. The ham was very good.

                                                                                Terrible experience, start to finish. We started out in the bar before our dinner reservation, and the bartender could not have been ruder or more miserable. We left the bar to go to dinner in the main restaurant, after having made the reservation on Open Table. The hostess grabbed menus and started to lead us right back into the bar area. We said no, we have reservations and she told us thatOpenTable assigns tables either in the bar or restaurant randomly. And, if we wanted to wait, we could wait 15 to 30 minutes to see if somebody who actually got a dining room reservation didn’t show up. So we ate in the bar. Worst ambience, stuck in the corner under a cold window. Food was awful. Sent my dinner back because it was cold. The new dinner that was brought out was just as cold as the first one. Would never go there again.
