We recently dined at The French Hen in Tulsa with a party of seven, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Nestled in a warm, elegant setting, the restaurant delivered both refined French cuisine and attentive service that made for a memorable evening. Several members of our group ordered steaks, which were perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and generously portioned — definitely a standout dish. The osso bucco was rich and tender, falling off the bone with deep, comforting flavors. We also started with the escargot, which came in a delightful garlic-butter sauce, tucked inside flaky puff pastry shells that were as tasty as they were charming. It was a definite table favorite. Service was consistently good — professional, courteous, and well-paced throughout the evening, even with a larger group. Drinks were kept full, and the staff made great wine pairing suggestions that elevated the meal even further. Overall, The French Hen delivered a classic yet elevated French dining experience in Tulsa. Whether you’re a fan of fine cuts of meat or looking to indulge in rich, traditional French dishes, it’s well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back.

Food was excellent. Service was great. My only complaint is that we had to wait quite a while in between each course. We had 3 courses and only drank water. For 2 people, this should have been an almost 2 hour meal. Overall, it was great and will keep coming back.

Very disappointing. You go for French cooking expecting wonderful sauces. The sauce on my Osso Buco tasted of corn starch and little else. Everyone was disappointed with their meals. The wine was warm as if it had been stored on the radiator. Service was fine, but that only goes so far.

The reservation was easy to make, and we were seated promptly and offered a beverage. The server’s scallops recommendation was excellent and they were perfectly prepared. The spinach salad was extremely good. The manager was friendly and made us feel special. We are going back.

Both our service and meal were outstanding. We enjoyed the filet and the diver scallops. Dessert was awesome as well. New location is great. Your team is outstanding. Great date night!
