   We have eaten a few times at The Front Yard and in the past , we were very satisfied enough to return, but we are thinking that this may be our last time. We should have known from our first encounter with the host that the restaurant has changed. We arrived 25 minutes early, and we were told that we needed to wait until 6:15 when our reservation was set. We asked why as the entire restaurant was mostly empty. He said this was their policy and to go wait at the fountain outside of the restaurant. We said we would wait at the bar and order a drink, and the host again said(as he pointed),” no …. Wait at the fountain.” We sank away as we had just been scolded as if we were children. When we were finally seated at exactly 6:15 , in a still very empty restaurant, we ordered drinks which were quite tasty but they were unusually light in alcohol. We ordered salads and when the first salad was brought to the table, we had assumed that the salad was divided into fourths as there were a few beets, a couple of cucumbers and a handful of tomatoes. We had to order another salad as this barely fed one person. We had the brussel sprouts and shishito peppers , and both of these appetizers were sufficient. One of us ordered the bone in short ribs and asked if we could switch out the sides and again we were scolded and told NO. So we ordered a side of mac and cheese which was inedible. We each tried a bite and deemed it as not good at all. Two of the guests wanted to share the halibut special- when the plate arrived, we thought it was a child’s portion. Dessert was very good, and the server did remove the Mac n cheese from our bill. In conclusion, if the portions are going to be small, and there are no substitutions, and we were greeted like that, we will pass on another visit.

   Great food and really sexy ambience! It’s also attire comfortable! It’s completely up to you. There were some that were dressed casual, and some that were dressed LA chic.

   We loved our experience. We were meeting good friends. Our table was ready and lovely. Services and food were excellent. We will return!

   Nice place for brunch. Very busy! Good selection of of items to chooses from on the menu for either breakfast or lunch

   Came here for brunch with my girls. Everyone was more than satisfied with their food. Mimosas are super delicious! And only paid 88 for everything!! Love the Front Yard, from the food, vibe and the prices!
