   Cino modesto , servizio dozzinale. Atmosfera gradevole, locale ordinario. Nulla di particolarmente negativo ma niente di particolarmente positivo.

   Meal choice was very disappointing and food was not good. I have eaten here many times over the years but will not go back.

   Not up to their usual standard. Food a tad cold and uninspiring. Main courses very average. Basque cheesecake wasn’t caramelised. Not the gastro pub of old.

   I chose the Greene Oak for a family birthday meal as the food never disappoints and we always receive great service. Today was no exception and they even did a small birthday dessert as a surprise which was much appreciated. We will be back again soon!

   Had a lovely meal tonight at the Greene Oake. Food was tasty, and the service was great. Thanks to Ria and the other staff for looking after us, and being so friendly…

   We are regular diners here. We invited family to join as a table of 4. Overall the food was excellent with the exception of the seabass fillets being overcooked on two attempts as well as the sides of leaks were over salted. This is an exception as we have always had a lovely meal. They of course recognised the issue and deducted the food accordingly. Service was superb as always. Look forward to returning soon!
