A warm welcome awaits you at the Greenwich Tavern, where first-class food and drink is a passion and the aim to meet your every need is a promise.

Set on the corner of King William Walk overlooking the beautiful grasslands of Greenwich Park, this all-embracing venue includes a bar and quaint function room ideal for parties and celebrations. The atmosphere swings from lively and merry to relaxed and mellow, due to the distinctive character offered by each of the tavern's two floors.

I accept it was Mother's day and so would be busy, we had to wait near 1 hour for food, but I have to say the meal was great (Sunday lunch). We were notified the meal would take some time about 30/45 mins waiting, and I would just have expected a bit more attention from staff, even to check if we wanted anything else to drink. So others are aware the meal was mid£20s and a pint over £8, so on the higher side.

We went to the Greenwich Tavern to eat before we went to the Greenwich Theatre to see the panto. The food was good pub style. I had the fish and chips which was great. Lovely batter on the haddock. My husband had the risotto which he really enjoyed. We enjoyed the panto too!

Such a cosy little venue. Great service and great atmosphere. Only thing letting it down is the vegetarian options!

Great service, delicious food and good wine. Staff were fantastic and service exemplary. Hope that the first floor area will resume being an area customers can use in the future, if not already privately reserved. We missed being able to enjoy the view overlooking the park in a quieter area but, apart from that, the staff provided a brilliant service. Thank you
