   The food and experience were amazing, especially the Tomato Gin Soup and the Strawberry Flambé! Chris did an outstanding job serving us and preparing those amazing at table features! All of the food - sable fish and the 30 oz T-Bone were amazing. Can’t wait to return! Many thanks to the Chefs, Chris, and your team!!

   I recently dined at The Grill Room in Fairmont Whistler, and overall, it was a decent experience. The service was outstanding—the waitstaff was attentive and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the meal. However, when it came to the steaks, I was left underwhelmed. I ordered the sirloin, and while it was prepared well, the quality of the cut didn’t quite match the price point. Compared to other steakhouses, it felt a bit lacking in both texture and overall value. On the other hand, the dessert was the real standout. The presentation, flavor, and overall execution were excellent, making it one of the most memorable parts of the meal. However, the portion sizes were on the smaller side, which left me wanting a bit more. Overall, while the meal had some great moments, I’m not sure it fully justified the price. The exceptional service and dessert stood out, but the steak—the main attraction—didn’t quite meet my expectations.

   Great special occasion restaurant. Fun to have the tomato soup prepared at the table. Food was wonderful. Everything is a la carte so be prepared for that. Our waiter Martina’s quite personable and attentive. It was pricey for sure, but worth it for special treat!

   We have been dining at the grill room every time we’ve visited Whistler for the last 15 years and this is the first time we’ve been disappointed. While our waiter was great, the staff appeared to be in disarray. I also don’t remember there being music in the restaurant - this was the one place we could go to have a quiet meal in nice surroundings. We waited over30 minutes for our shared entree to arrive. And then had to flag a staff member down after we waited 15 minutes to pay. To their credit, the manager did comp our entree when I complained But the restaurant is not the same and I don’t think we’ll return

    Amazing dinner seafood tower superb salmon steak and Chilean sea bass excellent mushrooms asparagus and potato’s with chimichurri perfect desert the strawberry clamber and sticky toffee pudding are the best
