Seasonal Local American Cuisine. We use many local products from local farmers. We are located about a mile west of the University of Virginia campus. Historic old home turned into a restaurant. Three small intimate dining rooms upstairs, one on the ground floor and a large weather protected patio. In the winter the Patio is heated. Family owned since 1995. Special diet needs met upon request.

    Ivy Inn was an absolute experience! The food was phenomenal, we did pre fix Valentine’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint! They have a very well curated wine list. Would love to go again

    One word. Outstanding! The baked oysters -delicious. The salmon and rack of lamb were exceptional. Katie W- great service. Only downside? We don’t live closer. Kudos to Angelo and his team. 👍❤️

    The Ivy Inn offers very high quality food selections in a relaxed, lovely older house, or patio, setting. Nearly every ingredient is made in house, including wonderful breads and desserts. In an increasingly mediocre, expensive dining landscape The Ivy Inn is truly worth every penny! It is by far our favorite restaurant to dine at in the Charlottesville area.

    Everything was wonderful! From the service (every employee we encountered wished us happy anniversary) to the ambience (quiet and elegant, but relaxed) to the perfectly prepared food. I hope to return for me every special occasion!

    As always, the food was delicious. The staff was superb, from the host who fit us in earlier when our schedule changed, to our server who went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience.

    Ivy Inn does everything (and I mean everything, down to the music selection and music volume and lighting and artwork) 5-star well. I always leave Ivy Inn feeling like I have been on a mini vacation: super relaxed, pampered, treated to food that is always perfectly prepared (the rack of lamb!!) and wines that are reasonably priced and thoughtfully chosen. Service is attentive and never rushed. Ivy Inn, don’t change a thing!

    We had read the Inn was one of of the most romantic restaurants in American. Did not think so after eating there. Open rooms upstairs with bench seats and tables very open to others. Excellent service from heather and food was good but nothing special to us. A couples dinner with 2 glasses of wine no appetizer or dessert $160 with tip. We checked it out but really would not go back again.
