Perched directly above Lake Bonavista with large glass windows overlooking the lake, The Lake House is home to one of Calgary’s finest and most creative restaurants as well as a unique setting for weddings and events.

The Lake House features Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts‘ (CRMR’s) renowned and distinctive Rocky Mountain Cuisine. This is interpreted and presented by Chef Gareth Colville. Chef Colville and his team excel at showcasing the regional flavor of Western Canada. Our locally inspired menus are complimented by a diverse wine list offering global selections authored by acclaimed sommelier Brad Royale.

Soup of the day was very good. The Bison burger tasted great as usual though bun seemed a bit cold and dry. Service was great. Always like coming here.

The food and drinks were delicious, the portions perfect and the attention was outstanding, Francis was our waiter and he was super attentive and nice.

The whole night was lovely. We were not rushed and our server was excellent. Would highly recommend a visit. Will be returning. The food was way above average and was a great price compared to other restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful night out.

Made a reservation in advance requesting a window table or alternatively a quiet table. Upon arrival we saw an open window table for two but were escorted to the middle of a higher traffic choice of 3 tables. It was quite the opposite of what we were asking. Ten minutes after we sat down another couple were seated at the table by the window. The meals and our server were wonderful however if you are counting on a nice table for a special evening maybe call ahead and speak to a manager to confirm.
