The Loft Live Theatre-Lounge-Dining located in the vibrant Heavenly Village of South Lake Tahoe, California. We are an American Tapas/Small Plates restaurant featuring a sampling of unique dishes from around the world. All of our offerings are made in house, using the freshest high quality ingredients. Our Chef/Owner is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and also a Certified Sommelier.                                                                                       Great restaurant with plates to share or keep for yourself. Clearly marked gluten-free and vegetarian options. We ordered about half of the menu to share with a party of five. Our winner of all dishes was the bison carpaccio. Runners up included the deviled eggs, Shrimp and surprisingly, the tofu buffalo wings. Favorite dessert drink was "not your father's root beer float". Our server was fabulous. Attentive and very personable. We were never with a dry glass, whether it was water, wine, or cocktails. And speaking of, a very nice selection of all.

                                                                                      Pretty cool place. Nice vibe and style inside. Never had a magician do tableside tricks like we read about so my son was disappointed. Food and service were both great. Be aware that it is very expensive for the size of the portions.

We had a large group and ended up having to buy a ticket for 6 month old. Had to leave theatre because it was too loud. The performer was good and we enjoyed the show.

                                                                                      Our first time there… won’t be our last! Todd was great and the table side magic show was really cool! The food was very good and a good $$ value in my opinion.

                                                                                      We’ve made The Loft our go-to when going to a show or event in South Lake since “discovering” it 4 years ago. The service is always spot on - helpful in providing recommendations, friendly, and attentive without being clingy. They manage the timing and delivery of multiple plates extremely well. If attending the show (they always ask), they also coordinate the timing of your meal to ensure your transition from dinner to show is seamless. We always feel comfortable and relaxed whether doing a tapas dinner, or just relaxing with an appetizer and drink at one of their indoor fire tables. The ambiance is warm/comfortable/friendly and intimate at the same time. The Tapas menu is creative, varied, and the food is always very well done and presented. Their drink menu is well crafted and just as well executed. We’ve never had a bad experience at The Loft and expect to keep going back regularly.
