Welcome to The Market Place, Asheville's culinary gem nestled in the heart of downtown! Led by Chef William Dissen, our restaurant celebrates the vibrant flavors of the region with a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from within a 100-mile radius of Asheville. We're proud to have been named a semi-finalist for the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. Join us for dinner beginning at 5 pm where you can enjoy our delicious dishes alongside a local beer or a handmade cocktail.

Due to the unpredictable weather in the mountains, patio tables cannot be reserved.

Extra step-we didn’t love the first wine we picked and the server found an off menu wine he thought we would enjoy and we did! Going above and beyond.

                                                                                                              Fixed price, 3 course menu for NYE. The food was first class and our service was great. Nice touch from Chef/Owner to chat for a good couple of minutes and kindly thank us for coming to town and help support the town. Will definitely return to enjoy the a la carte menu.

When we arrived they didn’t have our reservation made on open table. It could have been because it was made 30 mins prior to our arrival. They were happy to seat us still
