Located in historic downtown Tacoma, The Melting Pot provides a unique, interactive dining experience in a casually elegant, intimate atmosphere. Stop into our gourmet fondue restaurant after a concert at The Tacoma Dome, a visit to The Tacoma Art Museum to see the Dale Chihuly Museum of Glass, or a family outing at the Point Defiance Zoo. Choose from 1, 2, 3, or more courses, including savory cheeses prepared tableside, fresh salads with house-made dressings, tempting meats and seafood, and of course, creamy chocolate fondue served with an array of delicious dippers. Complement your selections with a specialty cocktail, craft beer, or glass of wine from our extensive wine list. No matter what menu items you choose, or how many courses you order, we encourage you to savor every moment.

    Valentine Dinner is $125 PER GUEST. $5 Booking fee per person will be refunded after dinner. We're offering a pre-fix 5-Course Valentine's Fondue Experience Feb. 10th - 16th. Start off with a complimentary champagne toast and each couple will take home a $50 certificate to use during a future visit. Menu & details are available on our website. Enjoy Melting Pot favorites and unique Valentine's Day menu creations. Champagne and specialty cocktails will complete your evening. On Feb. 14th & 15th, our Kids menu is not available, but kids are half price from 12pm-3pm. Credit card is required to confirm. No show fee = $50 per guest. Your table will be reserved for 2 hrs for parties of 1-4; 2.5 hrs for parties of 5-6

    It was a LITTLE dark at 430-5pm but other than that it was a perfect experience. I little pricey on the Valentine’s Day menu, something just to be prepared for. Everything tasted delicious our server was amazing and it was very quiet. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

    i’ve been here multiple times and this was the worst my first time going during a holiday and the service was terrible the food was ok and it could have just been so much better definitely recommend going during a regular day not during holidays

    I have been to the Melting Pot multiple times. It is always a great experience, with quality food and great service. It is a perfect location for an experience for a date. I took us here for Valentine's Day since she has never experienced it. I knew in advance that it was a higher price per person and set menu for the event. It was great quality, great service, and a great experience for a special occasion, as always. However, for this review, I took some stars away for things like value. While it was a great experience as always, it definitely isn't justified to charge over $100 per person for the experience. I believe their normal rates per person for the multiple-course experiences are completely fair and reasonable. I love the restaurant, and we will definitely return, but it will always be on a normal day. I would recommend that anyone try this restaurant, and they will not be disappointed. I would just advise, unless it's a very special occasion and do not mind spending twice as much or more for an experience there, to not attend a special time period such as Valentine's Day and wait for a regular time to go.

    We had a great evening with the family. The fondue was great and the time cooking etc. allowed for good conversation. We needed gluten- free for one of our party, and they accommodated us nicely. Very nice evening.

    Dining at the Melting Pot is an experience. It takes up to three hours to get through the four-course meal, which is great for a romantic evening or celebration.
