The Miller Howe could well lay claim to having the most stunning view in Britain. Indeed, sweeping vistas over windswept Windermere, the rolling countryside of the Lake District and the Langdale Pikes, make this fine restaurant a landmark all of its own. With large, arched windows guests can enjoy the scenery from any table in this well-appointed restaurant where furnishings have been carefully chosen for their classic simplicity. Such an impressive setting demands the food to match and head chef Andy Beaton certainly delivers. A student of Raymond Blanc, Beaton leads an impressive team in making the most of fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. Dishes are elegant and delicious with a touch of French sophistication and plenty of imagination.

    The service is old school exceptional! And they have an amazing view of the Lake in the lounge and the restaurant. No wonder the Queen came here!

    Amazing atmosphere, great service and delicious food! View of the lake was fine and we were really lucky with the weather. Would recommend to anyone looking for a really nice spot to dine!
