Before being seated at the table, my full party hadn’t arrived, so I decided to wait at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I asked for non-sweet cocktail options, he dismissively said that everything on the menu was sweet and pre-batched. When I requested a drink with cucumber, mint, and vodka, his response was, “Is soda okay?” I then inquired about passionfruit, and he laughed, saying, “That’s very sweet,” followed by, “NO, we don’t have passionfruit.” From my experience, passionfruit can be quite tart rather than overly sweet, so this interaction felt unnecessarily condescending. It left me wondering if we had completely different perceptions or if he just didn’t want to help. Frustrated, I gave up trying to get any recommendations and settled for an espresso martini, even though I didn’t want coffee at all. When we finally got seated, the waitress initially displayed a similar attitude. Thankfully, one of my friends handled the situation diplomatically, which seemed to improve her demeanor. I usually love Nice Guy and all H.Wood Group venues, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The bartender, in particular, failed to set the right tone for the evening. I wish I had caught his name.

Wasn’t worth it. The food was decent not worth the prices. The atmosphere was pleasant but very loud. The cocktails are extremely overpriced and barely artisan.

Came there ordered the mozzarella it came out cold didn’t say anything I understand that we ordered a bunch of food, but they forgot about our fried calamari. We had to remind them when they bought out our main course, then I ordered three glasses of 1942 the first glass. I watched the bartender grab the bottle from the top shelf the second glass came out didn’t taste the same, so I ordered another one and watched to see if they were gonna grab the bottle. The waitress arrived with my glass so I told the waitress I didn’t see him grab the bottle of 1942 from the top shelf like they did on the first one. She said we keep one behind the bar which was awkward and it definitely didn’t taste like 1942 spent $700 at the location. I never mind spending money but it wasn’t worth it.

Love the restaurant and the service was EXCELLENT. What we just had a hard time with is TURN UP THE LIGHTS. PLEASE NO ONE is a bat with radar. It's so dark, and I get the "groovy" ambience it may create, but for those of us trying to enjoy conversation, cocktails and good food, you can't even see the menu. You can't EVEN SEE the food that was set in front of you.

What usually is an amazing experience was the complete opposite this trip. Waited 30 minutes to be seated while multiple parties that came after me were seated. When I asked the host why she stated “oh I’m waiting for your table outside”. Which was crazy because I had reservations for the inside. She didn’t even look. Then in the end proceeded to give me the smallest table all the way in the back. Won’t be returning.
