The Palm Court’s Afternoon Tea truly shines with custom tableware and china, a fragrant tea list steeped in history, and of course, a bit of precocious Eloise too. Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Hours:
Breakfast* | 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Confirmed breakfast reservations at The Palm Court
are reserved for hotel guests at this time.

Afternoon Tea | 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Evening Prix Fixe | 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Reservations are not required but recommended
*Evening prix fixe menu ends at 10:30 p.m.
*Based on hotel occupancy. Hotel guests will be priority.

Here's to the Plaza's storied past and limitless future to include live entertainment, grand buffet, live music, full bar and complimentary midnight toast of Roederer Cristal to ring in the New Year. Keep these four walls filled with the buzzing excitement that makes our castle on Central Park a location that continues to withstand the test of time. We will welcome guests at 9PM through 1AM. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will be non-refundable. No shows will be non-refundable.

Servizio pessimo. Ostriche mezze andare ed infima qualità. Il posto sembra un posto di mare dove la qualunque entra. Sicuramente ha perso il fascino del passato.

Tutto buono, accoglienza pessima! Abbiamo avuto il tavolo dopo 20 minuti dal’orario della prenotazione. Il personale che ci ha accolto non è professionale, abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti non ci è stata data alcuna spiegazione, non ci siamo potuti accomodare neanche al bar.

Shocking. I knew it was a set menu of finger food, I went expecting something like The Ritz or Fortnum & Masons in London. The Plaza’s food is more like a bakery down the road, around the corner and 14 tube stops away from The Ritz. The atmosphere is fantastic and would have made up for the food if the staff weren’t so arrogant. They kept assuming I couldn’t afford to be there (probably because of my accent) and reminding me about the price. Sorry babes, you work at a restaurant that’s only famous because Macaulay Culkin visited 25 years ago. Take a selfie out the front and buy a hot dog from a cart in Central Park, it’ll be tastier.

Great vibe, excellent service. However, food is not that good, too much bread in the preselect menu. And the bread doesn’t even taste fresh. Desserts were good though.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I booked the Palm Court months in advance for the lite fare menu at 6 p.m.. We were excited to see the plaza and have a few apps and drinks. When we arrived we were told it was a price fix menu. It was 95 dollars per person and 45 for children. We were not permitted to order anything else. The price fix menu was just a small assortment of tea sandwiches much like the tea service during the day. There weren’t any other items and we were not allowed to order drinks if you weren’t ordering the price fix meal. If you decided not to eat you still had to pay 50 dollars per person. None of this was communicated to me. We eventually left. I found this to be extremely embarrassing and we also left hungry. I expected more from the Plaza.

Beautiful place to indulge in formal afternoon tea. Wonderful experience for a young girl since they can get the Eloise tea. Very expensive but worth it as a special treat during the xmas holiday

I get the experience of tea at the Plaza Hotel but the food was mediocre at best and the service was sub par. Considering the price these should have been a much higher standard.

You pay for the experience. The $95 price tag for the evening cocktail bites was definitely not worth it. The dessert bites were the best part.

Wonderful experience at Palm Court. Tea was very smooth. I love the ambience and carpet flooring that absorbed a lot of the sound. Food was delicious. Scones were warm and soft and melted in my mouth with the special sauces. Everything was made well and very rich and not too sweet. Service was amazing from Fabriz. Highly recommend his professional service. Thank you so much
