Waiter couldn’t have cared less about us. Due to the time of year restaurant was using a prefix and pre priced menu for you to choose the options available. Have been here numerous times and this was a first and not a fan. Options were good and food delicious but was just more food than me and my wife wanted. Over priced and wait staff has no obligation to try harder for a good tip based on this pricing. Really wish I didn’t leave a tip and will inquire before booking again to ensure no prefix menu. Ambience and Kapalua location are stunning.

Outstanding views of the Plantation golf course as well as the beach with whales jumping every five seconds to remind us how nature is so powerful! Pair that with a great holiday menu (3 courses) with plenty of options! I had the crab cakes and my husband a salad to start. Salad was light and fresh and crab cakes were flavorful and crispy. For mains, my husband had the rack of lamb and I had the macadamia nut crusted mahi. Both were delicious and came in big servings. Dessert, was the cherry of the ice cream! The best pineapple upside down cake!!! Our waiter was always on top of everything and was super sweet! We will definitely come back!

The food was excellent. The service was attentive and not overwhelming. We were there in January so we booked an early reservation to be able to see the sunset. They had all of the windows on three sides of the dining room open to the breeze. It was very pleasant and the sunset was nice. At the time we visited it was a fixed price menu. $150 a person for three courses. The cocktails were a bit ordinary, but the wine list was extensive. Definitely a place I would like to go again.

The Plantation is a great restaurant, but on this occasion let down by the fact that we were required to choose the fixed price Holiday Menu even on January 7th (in fact it stays in force until Jan 10th). Ever heard of the 12 days of Christmas? Please review this policy - you are doing yourself a disservice.

Plantation House on our 48th anniversary. One of our favorite spots in Kapalua for a sunset dlnner. Food, drink and service is superb.
