For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style structure would hold what is now the longest, continuously running fine dining restaurant in the city.
Recently named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses by USA Today and Gayot.com, The Precinct is frequently recognized as having Cincinnati’s best steaks, seafood, and service. This consistent, high level of quality and overall guest experience over 4 decades has endeared Precinct to celebrities, business people, families, and loyal diners alike. The Precinct also offers a quaint outdoor patio area where guests may dine.

This was our best experience at a high end restaurant in many years. Service, food and atmosphere was spot on! Thank you

                                                                                                        As is to be expected at a Ruby’s establishment, dinner and service at the Precinct were exceptional. Trey, our waiter and Izzy, his assistant, were attentive without being intrusive and paced our courses as requested allowing time to savor each while enjoying our conversation. Our filet mignon was prepared to perfection. The truffle corn, while definitely not needed with the included salad and potato, was an irresistible side dish. I highly recommend trying it. Clint,the manager, stopped by to ensure our expectations had been met and took time for friendly conversation, the epitome of great customer service.

                                                                                                        Yet again, another great dining experience at The Precinct. We were in town from California visiting family & when we thought about where to go, it was an easy decision. The Precinct never disappoints! The food is always top notch, & the steaks are the best in the country. Dined in the bar & the atmosphere is very cool! Our server Shannon went above & beyond to make sure our every need was taken care of. She was great! The manager Brandon was very welcoming and is the epitome of hospitality. Thank you Precinct staff for a great experience for my family!
